"art
that don't match the sofa"
Tom Blunt

After many jobs,
self taught folk artist Tom Blunt of Virginia had a "late mid-life crisis"
and decided to follow his passion for making art. Now, he supports
himself by performing various odd jobs that allows him plenty
of time to devote to his fanciful art work. With more energy devoted
to enjoying life to it's fullest (as well as time to sometimes
just daydream), he has found happiness as well as success in his
new-found career.
Paraphrasing John
Irving's Hotel New Hampshire, Tom says, "Life is serious, but art is fun." Working with found
objects and carved wood, Tom paints with bright acrylics to create colorful
pieces that have only one purpose -- to put a smile on your face.
Blunts signature artwork
may be found in galleries up and down the East Coast and in private
collections in the United States and Europe. RaZoO GaLLeRy of Fort Lauderdale is proud to
present Tom's quirky playful
daydreams to Outsider
Art collectors.
